Please Help nANCY'S fIGHT

nANCY Camenisch's sTORY

diagnosed with stage 4 tonsillar cancer that spread to her liver and bone.

Nancy Camenisch of Peru, Illinois has dedicated her life to serving others. As the former President of a local credit union, she tirelessly put the needs of her family, friends, and community first. She has been a guiding light for countless individuals, always ready to lend a hand, offer support, and provide solutions to those in need. Her kindness and generosity have touched the lives of many, and now, in her time of need, it is our turn to give back to her.

Just three days before her daughter's wedding, Nancy received devastating news—she was diagnosed with stage stage 4 tonsillar cancer that spread to her liver and bone. . The diagnosis has forced her to step down from her position at the credit union that she loved so dearly, as the treatments have left her too weak and in too much pain to continue working. Despite facing such an awful diagnosis, Nancy's concern remains with others, worried about the financial burden her medical bills will place on her family.

Nancy and her husband, Jeff Camenisch, are now trying to make it on a single income. The mounting medical expenses are overwhelming, and without assistance, the stress of these bills is taking a toll on Nancy's health and spirit. She deserves to focus on her treatment and spend precious time with her loved ones without the constant worry of financial strain.

This fundraiser is our way of giving back to Nancy, who has given so much to anyone and everyone should could. By contributing, you can help cover her medical bills, ensuring she receives the care she needs without the added burden of financial worry. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a significant difference in her life.

Nancy has always been there for her family, friends, and community—now, let's be there for her. Let’s come together with love and generosity to support Nancy, one of the most kind and loving people I know, in her fight against cancer. Your generosity will not only help alleviate the financial pressure but also provide her with the comfort and peace of mind she deserves during this challenging time.

Please donate what you can and share this fundraiser with others who may be able to help. Together, we can give Nancy the chance to focus on her health and spend quality time with her family and friends.

Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for your support and kindness.

STAGE 4 TONSILLAR CANCER

Stage 4 tonsillar cancer that has spread to the liver and bone indicates a very advanced and serious condition. Here's what this generally means:

  • Stage 4 Tonsillar Cancer: This suggests that the cancer originating in the tonsils has advanced significantly. In stage 4, the cancer has typically spread beyond the primary site (tonsils) to nearby tissues or lymph nodes, and possibly to distant organs.

  • Spread to Liver and Bone: The fact that the cancer has metastasized (spread) to the liver and bone indicates a very aggressive form of cancer. Liver and bone metastases are often associated with poorer prognosis due to the challenges in treatment and the advanced stage of the disease.

  • Treatment Approach: Treatment options may include chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and sometimes targeted therapy or immunotherapy. The goal of treatment in this stage is typically to relieve symptoms, slow the progression of the cancer, and prolong survival as much as possible.

  • Supportive Care: Given the advanced nature of the cancer, supportive care is crucial. This includes managing pain, providing nutritional support, and addressing any other symptoms or complications that may arise.

    The 200 MILE FundRaiser Run

    run 200 miles under 48 hours non-stop

My name is Jordan Gonzales and I'm an ultra marathon runner, gym owner, personal trainer, and I am married to my beautiful wife Katlyn Camenisch, daughter to Nancy Camenisch.

I will be running 200 miles in under 48 hours (non-stop) from St. Louis, Missouri to Peru, Illinois on September 19th, 2024 through September 21st, 2024 to raise money for my mother-in-law, Nancy Camenisch, who was diagnosed with stage 4 tonsillar cancer that spread to her liver and bone. Nancy has had to retire from her career due to her treatment regimen leaving it impossible for her to cover the medical bills that have accrued and continue to pile up. On top of the mounting cancer medical bills, creditors are harassing day after day to collect payment making this terrible situation even worse!

My goal here is to use my ultra marathon background to help build up enough funds to pay off these cancer medical bills so Nancy can have peace of mind and enjoy her life with family and friends.
